SNSD’s into the new world: electric guitar?

•July 29, 2008 • No Comments

Right.

This is really cool.

I am like loving the guitar version now. It is so appropriate for the song… (:

Then again, I’m just too busy to properly update my blog.

Wait till all the mayhem is over, and I’ll report every single thing that has happened!

For now…

Just enjoy this blog link XD

its over but it starts again

•July 25, 2008 • No Comments

APCG is over.

Camp is over.

But it all starts again.

Exams and more exams, tests, practicals.

I guess it is just another lifeless period for me once again.

Not forgetting my research reports…

And some overseas friends whom I’m hosting.

Wow.

it’s over!

•July 18, 2008 • No Comments

Wow!

The 5 days sure has zoomed past pretty quickly…

In a blink of an eye this precious 5 days have passed and we’re all back into reality mode. I guess the reality of this whole thing is that there is a lot stuff that’s waiting for us to do…

Darn. And to top it all off I have a camp this weekend.

My schedule sure is driving me nuts and cookies! Arghh.

Until I finish grippling my life with reality, this is going to be short.

work + apcg = madness

•July 17, 2008 • No Comments

Argh.

Waking up at 5am, returning home at 10pm has been the norm for the past few days.

I can literally feel the weight of the work that is piling up because of apcg.

Argh! >_<

Busy. Too busy.

APCG is killin me, seriously.

I just look at my pile of undone work and I can like, sigh for the whole day. >_<

That is if I still have any energy left to sigh.

special walk 2008!

•July 13, 2008 • No Comments

Phew. I guess all the crazy work has ended, with a bang!

Tiring I must admit,

Sleepy I must agree,

but meaningful I must believe.

It was very meaningful for me, and I really felt for the event…

The people, the smiles on their faces, the endorpines that filled the atmosphere, and the excitment going around really made me happy.

The walk was successful, and I think many of the walkers enjoyed the walk (and the shelters i guess). It is really fun (in my opinion) to receive items along the walk. Essentially it is something very new, and it is also something which is very attractive!

The whole idea of balloons and celebration was really a nicely thought out theme. It made sense. After 3 years of this event, what we really want to tell the rest is that we are celebrating the fact that a lot more people are now aware about autism.

Although I have yet interacted much with autistic children, this event made me feel for the school and for the amount of effort and time they are willing to give up just to give these children more chances in life.

This event was really something that touched me, and I really hope to spread the word further! (:

I have been wearing the wristband ever since and now I have the Art for Autism t-shirt as well haha… It is this really really really cute picture of a big head boy done by one of the students in the school.

I am really glad that I had the opportunity to be part of this big event and I hope that in the following years to come, this event will grow bigger and soon the whole nation would get to be able to participate in it!

Special Walk 2008 and beyond for the win! (:

saigang warriors!

•July 10, 2008 • No Comments

Ever wonder how goodie bags were made?

Wonder how the items magically appeared in the bag?

Well you should really thank the “saigang warriors” who fight for you, and ensured that you have everything in your goodie bag!

I had a slight taste of this interesting jobline and find it quite… cute.

Your arms and shoulders wil ache from the machinery speed and monotony and you might just lose more brain cells because its labour which doesn’t require 0.0001% of your brain power.

Then again, this is done for the good of everyone, isn’t it! I mean without us, or them “saigang warriors” we wouldn’t find nice stuff in our goodie bags! =’(

So when you see your goodie bags filled with things, say thanks to not just the person who said “please take your goodie bag”, but to those standing around watching silently as their hardwork gets swipped like flies.

attitudes

Can people change their attitudes and personalities with just a snap of a finger?

Or are these changes really just forced and not worth seen as real, effective changes?

I believe that 2 - 3 months is just not enough to change one’s characteristics. it takes time, over years to incalcate change and this is a slow, torturous and painful process.

So really, asking to change when time is running out… Is there really a need to do so?

Or is it just a last minute measure, hoping that someone somehow can be influenced by this “change”?

loss of words

How should you describe people who think they have done a lot but in actual fact did very little?

Empty vessel? Nah

Big talker? Not really…

Regardless of what we should call them, I think it is unbelievable that people that, insist they have contributed a lot yet actually did not do as much as he should, actually exist.

Well, I may not be accurate but let me just make some generalisations about these people:

People who boast and show how much they have done but in actual fact did much less are also…

1) People who are stubborn and do not bother about other people’s opinions on his work.

2) People who curse and swear at other people’s criticism of his work, when he should instead take these comments with an open heart and try to apply them.

3) People who are quietly jealous of others that are supposedly better than them, and as such try to breed unhappiness in other people towards those people.

I can’t say for sure that these generalisations are true for this type of people, but let’s just say it is true for one.

shin young’s “so hot”?

•July 8, 2008 • No Comments

Oh my g- soshi.

Sometimes parodies are funny, sometimes they are boring…

But I haven’t seen one that’s just so excruciatingly spastic! (I didn’t say it’s a bad thing =P)

Kim Shin Young, of all people it is her. I can’t really say her parody of Wondergirls’ “So Hot” was unappetising, but I shan’t say it is tasteful either.

It’s just for laughs I guess, and many laughs I presume.
